Sophomore Jade Martinez, a Ridgeview High School alum, who is described as selfless and a team player on and off the field, has been playing softball for an impressive 12 years. Jade is best described as passionate and willing to do what is best for the team, traits that will no doubt serve her well in the future. After Taft College, she plans on continuing her education to become a nurse while also playing softball.
When asked what her most memorable experiences have been, Jade said the friendships she has made. Like many student-athletes, she also notes that she has learned how to be responsible both on the field and in the classroom. Jade says her long-term goals are to be successful in whatever she chooses to do.
