Paige Wagner, a sophomore softball player at Taft College, has been spotlighted for her dedication to her team and to her education.
Paige attended Maricopa High School before coming to Taft College. The choice was easy for Paige, who wanted to stay local for the first two years of her education. Paige is majoring in Allied Health and plans on pursuing nursing, with the goal of eventually serving as a pediatric nurse.
Paige’s journey with softball started six years ago and brought her to Taft. Described as having a “team first mentality,” Paige shows up to practice early every day with a positive attitude. Living up to her coaches praises for always having a “team first mentality,” Paige’s favorite experience as a student-athlete is the friendships she has made along the way.
