Bio
Dr. Samasoni (Sam) Aunai is a mission-driven higher education executive with nearly twenty years of leadership advancing institutional excellence and student success. Prior to joining Taft College, his executive career included roles as Vice President and Interim President at Coalinga College, and Vice President and Dean at Porterville College. Dr. Aunai brings dedicated expertise to academic operations, accreditation, enrollment management, and purposeful financial leadership. As a champion for economic mobility, he steadfastly advances student achievement through guided pathways, career technical education, transfer pathways, and community partnerships.
