Triple Play Dinner

Keeping with recent tradition, Taft College Athletics kicked off the beginning of the spring semester hosting the sixth annual Triple Play Dinner and Auction. The fundraiser benefits our baseball and softball programs, helping us provide our student athletes with the necessary equipment for a successful season.

Vida Blue was this year's featured keynote speaker, with Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports-Bay Area as Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Blue, a former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher, mingled with guests before and during the events dinner. Vida Blue was very captivating as he discussed his experiences in the MLB and took many questions from the audience. 

Taft College Athletics had the honor of hosting such an electric community event, with a sold out venue and an engaging crowd, this year's Triple Play was one to remember.
