Taft Golf Host Big 8 South Tournament

TAFT, CA – The Taft College men's golf team hosted the Big 8 South Tournament on February 18 at Buena Vista Golf Course, competing against Fresno City College, Reedley College and San Jose City College.
It marked the Cougars' best team performance of the season with a total score of 336.
Leading the way for Taft were Brady Shipley and freshman Nathaniel Estrada, who each carded rounds of 80. Ryker Scherer followed with an 85, while Kasen Clark finished with a 91. Competing as an individual, Rodrigo Franco posted a round of 88.
