On Tuesday, September 4, the men's soccer team hosted a pre-season matchup against College of the Dessert. The Cougars came away with a 1-0 victory as Luis Lopez scored in the 65th minute. Hugo Magana assisted Luis by receiving the ball in the middle of the field and playing a well-executed through-ball.
Brandon Garcia came up huge for the Cougars as he had a spectacular save in the 78th minute, keeping a clean shut out.
The men's soccer team are now (3-0) as they prepare to head to San Bruno on Friday, September 7 to face Skyline College in what will be a competitive and exciting match.
