Taft College Men’s Soccer Ranked #20 Nationally

TAFT, CA – With another successful season in 2025, the Taft College Men's Soccer Team was recognized as the #20 best ranked junior college team nationally in division III according to the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Taft ended the season with an overall record of 10-6-6 and 3-3-4 in conference play. The Cougars won their first post season game in the Northern California Regional Playoffs but eventually lost in the second round.

Head Coach Angelo Cutrona praised the season, "Finishing the 2025 season ranked #20 in the nation is a tremendous accomplishment for our program. This recognition reflects the hard work, resilience, and unity our student‑athletes demonstrated from start to finish. Our team embraced every challenge with determination and represented Taft College with pride, character, and competitive spirit. I'm incredibly proud of what this group achieved together, and this national ranking is a testament to their commitment both on and off the field."
