The 2019-20 women's basketball season came to a bitter end for Taft College as the Cougars suffered a 103-32 loss at West Hills College Lemoore on Wednesday.
Freshman Sydney Taylor was the lone Cougar to score in double figures. She posted a double-double, leading Taft with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Brianna Rodriguez added 9 points.
Playing in their final game in a Taft uniform, sophomore Anaeja Phumphrey scored 2 points and sophomore Daijahnae Walker had 2 rebounds.
The defeat capped an 0-12 Central Valley Conference schedule for the Cougars. Taft lost its last 15 consecutive games and closed the year with 2-25 overall record.
