The Taft College women's basketball team had another rough night shooting and suffered an 80-20 loss at College of the Sequoias in Visalia on Wednesday.
The Cougars made just 5 of 36 field goals in the contest and fell behind 24-3 after the first quarter.
Sophomore Mercy Montgomery led TC with 5 points and 6 rebounds while sophomore Krystal Zavala added 4 points and 4 rebounds.
The loss dropped the Cougars to 0-8 on the season with just three games left to play. TC and Sequoias close out its two-game series on Thursday (Apr. 1) at 3 p.m. in Taft.
