Taft College Cougars Overpower San Bernardino Valley in Non-Conference Basketball Clash

In a first half dominated by Taft College, they took an early lead with Ella Waufle scoring the first points. Kimiko Kennedy boosted the lead with a 3-pointer, contributing to a significant 43-11 advantage at halftime. Not only did the Cougars excel offensively, but defensively they stifled the Lady Wolverines with multiple steals, particularly from Laila Gines who tied for top steals leader with 3.

As the game progressed into the third quarter, Taft College maintained their dominance, extending their lead by up to 55 points at one point. Ella Waufle continued her stellar performance, leading both scoring and assists. The quarter ended at 61-24, firmly in Taft College's favor. Closing the game strongly, the fourth quarter saw key contributions from bench players like Nasia Thompson, continuing the scoring trend. The game wrapped with the Cougars at a solid 82 points.
