"Rosa brought so much poise to the game," said Head Coach Lyle Martin Jr. "She's incredibly gifted technically and has a deep understanding of the game that you just don't see often. Her ability to remain calm under pressure while making the right decisions on the field made her a key player for us."
Coach Martin continued, "Rosa's journey is a testament to what it means to develop through the JUCO system and emerge ready for the next level. She consistently showed the discipline, vision, and competitive mindset that college coaches look for. Her contributions helped build the strong foundation that Taft College is now known for."
As she heads to Arizona, Coach Martin expressed his excitement for what lies ahead. "I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Rosa does at Nelson. She has all the tools to do something special, and I know she'll continue to grow and shine in this next chapter. Nelson University will be gaining a student-athlete who not only elevates the play on the field but also leads with maturity and purpose."
